Eric Powell’s comic The Goon has a wonderfully bold style, and when Jamie posted the first test footage from the project a few days ago we had our first chance to see what Blue Sky had in store for Powell’s creation.
After storming Comic Con last night Powell, voice actor Paul Giamatti and producer David Fincher gave the crowds a look at the full test footage for The Goon and thanks to MTV we’ve got this below for you to enjoy.
There’s a Sam and Max/Grim Fandango feeling to this one, and one of the quotes from Powell (from a report by FirstShowing) made me smile,
There’s not a Hollywood moment in it, this is 100% Goon from the comics
