The PactBack in 2011 writer director Nicholas McCarthy brought his short horror film The Pact to Sundance where it gained enough momentum to secure funding for a full length feature.

A year later McCarthy was back to premiere his feature debut, with Caity Lotz replacing Jewel Staite in the lead role with Casper van Dien in support to tell the story of a woman reeling from the death of her Mother and the subsequent disappearance of his sister and cousin.

The film is out on Blu-ray and DVD on the 1st of October and we’ve got a brief clip to set the scene as well as the new motion posters which seems to be what all the cool kids are doing at the moment. The clip has a nasty end to it so be warned. It’s not exactly NSFW but it’s not puppies and cupcakes.

Here’s the clip,

and here’s the motion poster to chill those fine bones of yours,

And if you want to see where it all came from thisis the trailer for the short which played at Sudance last year.
