Disney and Tim Burton reunite for another live action remake of a beloved animated classic – Dumbo flies back into cinemas with an all star cast including Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Michael Keaton, Finley Hobbins, Nico Parker, Alan Arkin, Deobia Oparei, Sharon Rooney and Joseph Gatt.

The flying elephant has delighted millions of us since it first flew in Walt Disney’s Dumbo in 1941. Now cutting edge visual effects and a great, and typical, Burtonian cast bring to life this evergreen story in a joyful manner. The World Premiere was held in London, and we present our interviews from the red carpet. Eva Green talks about getting over her fear of heights, her love of Tim Burton’s poetic visionary. Burton himself talked about doing something he’d never done before with this film. Farrell talked about the heart to the film, and that otherwordly feeling which also has a real emotional depth to it.

Colin Hart and Scott Davis were on the red carpet and conducted these interviews.
The film arrives in cinemas on the 29th of March, 2019.

Dumbo World Premiere Interviews

Plot:

A young elephant, whose oversized ears enable him to fly, helps save a struggling circus, but when the circus plans a new venture, Dumbo and his friends discover dark secrets beneath its shiny veneer.

Holt was once a circus star, but he went off to war and when he returned it had terribly altered him. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of Dumbo, a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.
