It’s been a whopping 77 years since Disney released Dumbo back in 1971 and with the recent back catalogue of movies being remade by the Mouse House it wasn’t ever going to be long before this beloved classic got the remake treatment.

Tim Burton directs what looks like a beautiful adaptation of the animation. Set for release in March 2019 Dumbo stars Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Eva Green and Michael Keaton.

We recently chatted to Colin Farrell who told us the movie was going to be very special.

Check out the brand new teaser trailer below along with the first poster released for the film.

Plot: Disney’s new live-action feature film “Dumbo” introduces Holt Farrier (Farrell), a former circus star who finds his life turned upside down when he returns from the war. Circus owner Max Medici (DeVito) enlists Holt to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when Holt’s children (Parker and Hobbins) discover that Dumbo can fly, persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Keaton) and an aerial artist named Colette Marchant (Green) swoop in to make the peculiar pachyderm a star.
