The Last Airbender has been a bit of a funny one for me. I have to admit that I’m not looking forward to it at all. I don’t know why, I think that director M. Night Shyamalan messed it all up for me when he made The Happening. I wonder however, if I should start to re-think as I’ve just watched these new videos that Paramount have released on their YouTube Channel for The Last Airbender and they all look rather spectacular.
The Last Airbender stars Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Dev Patel, Jackson Rathbone, Cliff Curtis and is based on the first season of the animated television series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. The story follows the adventures of the successor to a long line of Avatars who must put aside his irresponsible ways and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.
Those nations mentioned in that last sentence are what you’re about to see. Paramount have cleverly made videos for each of them. Have a little look at the videos below and then let me know in the comments what you think. Are yu too expecting this movie to be a bit of a let down or is it going to be the best thing since The Village?
