This morning, I got to interview the lovely and down to earth, Gemma Arterton, the softly spoken Jake Gyllenhaal, true Brit, Mike Newell, Prince of Persia game creator, Jordan Mechner and the living legend that is, Sir Ben Kingsley for their new movie. All the interviews will be posted throughout the next week but in the meantime, I thought you might like to see these photos that I took at the event.

Disney had rigged up a boudoir at the location of the junket and in said boudoir they had placed multiple costumes from Prince of Persia and the dagger of time itself! Check out of of these photos as Jake’s stunt double turned up and got to hold the dagger too! (ok, ok, it’s me!). I got to hold the actual dagger!!

I can’t claim to know too much about costume design or fashion in general but the quality of each and every one was created to perfection. Like it was going to be worn on a catwalk. Massive credit has to go to Penny Rose who headed the costume department for the movie. You’ll see what I mean when you see the film itself as every costume is immaculate. These photos won’t do them justice but I think you’ll like them all the same.

Prince of Persia is released in the UK 21st May. Click the images below to enlarge.
