It’s been a busy old week in the land of the apes, with the epic trailer launching alongside a live streamed Q&A with WETA showing off their work on the film.
This is also the week in which Peter Jackson gave us a tour of The Hobbit set and one Twitterer noted that these Q&As and in-production set videos were DVD extras before the DVDs were out – certainly the two films in question are highly anticipated and what we’re seeing is substantial as opposed to a half baked poster or lacklustre marketing content.
So, Rise of the Planet of the Apes then. Slashfilm put up a batch of high quality concept art and the collection is a thing of beauty, and it adds tangibly to the momentum of this film, which was by not means expected.
