Warner Bros. has unleashed the final trailer for ‘Clayface,’ and Gotham’s cult-favourite villain is getting a seriously sinister makeover.
Directed by James Watkins, the DC Studios horror thriller stars Tom Rhys Harries as Matt Hagen, a Gotham street kid who claws his way to Hollywood stardom, only for his meteoric rise to come crashing down when the actions of a local crime boss leave him horribly disfigured.
Abandoned by his team and with his life in pieces, Matt turns to a cutting-edge treatment in the hope of reclaiming the face and future he lost. The procedure works, restoring him to his former self, but there’s a horrifying catch.
As the treatment begins to take its toll on Matt’s grip on reality, his desperation mutates into an all-consuming thirst for revenge. The final trailer teases his increasingly disturbing transformation as the line between the man Matt once was and the monster he is becoming begins to disappear.
The film stars Tom Rhys Harries alongside Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll and Joshua James.
