Director Chris Wedge returns to the world of animation with his new film EPIC, and we got a chance to sit down and chat with him about the project.
EPIC is tells the story of an “epic” battle in the forest among a race of small warriors to preserve the beauty and peace of the land. A teenage girl finds herself caught in the middle, and helps the brave army of Leafmen stop the villainous Mandrake from turning the forest into a rotting wasteland.
Wedge talks about his inspiration for the story, the process and time required to produce an animated film, and his ability to assemble such a massively star-studded voice cast.
