The series, which is inspired by Philip K. Dick’s renowned short stories, will feature ten standalone episodes where each are set in a different and unique world – some which lie in the far reaches of the universe and time and others which are much, much closer to home. While the stories may be worlds apart, central to each is the poignant and warm exploration of the importance and significance of humanity.

Adapted by a number of leading writers and directors, the Electric Dreams series will include a stellar cast lineup with Bryan Cranston, Steve Buscemi, Julia Davis, Timothy Spall, Joanna Scanlan, Benedict Wong, Juno Temple, Janelle Monae, Anna Paquin, Greg Kinnear, Maura Tierney, Terrence Howard, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Holliday Grainger, Jack Reynor and Richard Madden.

In the episode in which the below images are taken, an episode titled Impossible Planet, which is written and directed by The Night Manager’s David Farr, Jack Reynor and Benedict Wong lead the cast of as two disillusioned, disenchanted and indifferent space tourism employees who take up an elderly woman’s (Geraldine Chaplin, A Monster Calls, Doctor Zhivago) request for a trip back to Earth… the existence of which is a long-debunked myth. She appears easily confused, plus she’s rich. As the journey unfolds, however, their scam begins to eat away at them and they ultimately find themselves dealt a bittersweet surprise.

The images show Benedict Wong as Es Andrews, Jack Reynor as Brian Norton and a behind the scenes image of Geraldine Chaplin as Irma Louise Gordon alongside Reynor.
