Last night at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, 20th Century Studios unveiled the first trailer for ‘The Dog Stars,’ a sweeping and emotionally charged survival thriller from visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott.
Set in a stark, post-apocalyptic landscape where the air feels as thin as hope itself, ‘The Dog Stars’ follows Hig, a young pilot clinging to routine as a lifeline. Living in a fragile pocket of order alongside Bangley, a hardened military survivalist, the pair have built a system that keeps them alive but not necessarily living. That uneasy equilibrium fractures when a mysterious radio transmission crackles through the silence, igniting a dangerous journey into the unknown.
Adapted from Peter Heller’s acclaimed novel, the film boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast. Jacob Elordi leads as Hig, joined by Josh Brolin as the formidable Bangley, alongside Margaret Qualley, Guy Pearce, Benedict Wong, and Allison Janney.
