Blake Lively (The Town) and Eddie Redmayne (Black Death) have signed up to appear in coming-of-age dramedy Hick.

Lively and Redmayne will star opposite Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass) and Kirsten Dunst (All Good Things) in the adaptation of Andrea Portes’ novel.

Derick Martini (Lymelife) will direct from a script penned by Portes.

Hick centers on a Nebraska teen (Moretz) who gets more than she bargained for when she sets out for the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Hick is a co-production between Taylor Lane Productions and Lighthouse Entertainment.
