Ahead of its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, Netflix has dropped the trailer for dramedy The Land of Steady Habits.

Based on the novel by Ted Thompson, The film stars Ben Mendelsohn as Anders Hill, a man who has left his wife and job to find his happiness; but finds himself surrounded by issues in repairing his fractured life. Also, starring are Edie Falco and Connie Britton.

The Land of the Steady Habits Official Synopsis

Feeling trapped in the stifling, wealthy enclave of Westport, Connecticut, Anders Hill (Ben Mendelsohn) retires from his job in finance and leaves his wife (Edie Falco) in the hopes that it will renew his lust for life. However, he’s quickly faced with the startling reality of his choices; he spends his days looking for things to decorate his empty shelves, sleeping with strangers and feeling terribly lost.
