Marvel Studios have enlisted Andy Park (whose concept art has been used in many of their movies and for a number of Comic-Con posters over the past few years) to provide the first poster for Ant-Man.

The image features Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, while we also get a look at the Ant-Man costume in its full glory. It’s similar to the one spotted in the test footage shown at Comic-Con last year, but with a few small changes. Perhaps the best part about it is that we get to see Ant-Man on board an ant!

As this is concept art, there may of course be a few changes between now and when the movie is actually released next July. Edgar Wright was originally set to direct before “creative differences” led to Marvel seeking out a new writer in Adam McKay (Anchorman) and a director in Peyton Reed (Yes Man).

In related Marvel Studios news, they’ve taken full advantage of the fact that Sony will no longer release a fourth instalment in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise on May 4th, 2018 to take that release date for one of their own future movies. The fact that it’s the around the same date that they released their Avengers movies on back in both 2012 and next year means that it being a third one of those is extremely likely.
