Star Trek Into The Darkness actress, Alice Eve has been confirmed by Marvel to be joining the cast of Iron Fist for its second season.

However, character details for the Eve have yet to be made public but Finn Jones as Danny Rand, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, and Sacha Dhawan as Danny’s childhood friend Davos all return for the follow-up season.
The second season of Marvel’s Iron Fist will see Danny Rand (Finn Jones) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) set off on a new adventure as the protectors of Chinatown – where death, action and surprises await them around every corner.
“We are very excited to have an actress of Alice’s stature join the cast of ‘Marvel’s Iron Fist,’” said Marvel’s head of television and series executive producer Jeph Loeb. “Her exceptional talent brings an intrigue and danger to her character unlike anyone else.”
Eve’s acting credits include Black Mirror, in which she appeared in its third season and Misconduct, she can next be seen in alongside Dakota Fanning and Toni Collette in Please Stand by which tells the story of a A young autistic woman who runs away from her caregiver in an attempt to submit her manuscript to a writing competition.
Season 2 also sees Raven Metzner take over as showrunner from Scott Buck, who left the show to work on the Marvel-ABC series “Inhumans.”
No premiere date has been released as yet for the second season.
