This evening the sixth annual Newport Beach Film Festival UK Honours event arrived at The Langham in London, and we spoke to some of the stars on the red carpet. This year’s honourees include Richard E. Grant, Sir Ian Holm, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Gugu Mbatha Raw, Alice Eve, Asa Butterfield, George MacKay, Erin Doherty, Bel Powley, Sophie Cookson and Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa.

Asa Butterfield and Ncuti Gatwa updated us on the reaction to Season 2 of Netflix’s Sex Education, Richard E. Grant ponders the mystery of the endurance of Spice World the Movie, Erin Doherty teases Gillian Anderson’s portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in season 4 of Netflix’s The Crown and so much more – it was quite a night.
