We are big fans of Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo here. For the uninitiated, Alamo Drafthouse is an independent cinema in Texas, focusing on unusual cinema experiences, in particular themed theatrical releases and Mondo is an art boutique, producing posters and T-shirts to accompany the releases.

We have seen the Star Wars posters from Olly Moss already, and sensational they are too. Now courtesy of Yahoo and from Mondo direct, here is a link to a gallery of the best of Mondo’s work for 2010. My favourites? Either R2D2 or the brilliant Tron two-partner. Pop over to have a look at them and then come back to let us know your personal favourites.

Check out the True Grit posters in high resolution  below (click them to see them BIG!) or head over to Yahoo for the full gallery.

Both these posters below go on sale tomorrow:

Dave has been writing for HeyUGuys since mid-2010 and has found them to be the most intelligent, friendly, erudite and insightful bunch of film fans you could hope to work with. He's gone from ham-fisted attempts at writing the news to interviewing Lawrence Bender, Renny Harlin and Julian Glover, to writing articles about things he loves that people have actually read. He has fairly broad tastes as far as films are concerned, though given the choice he's likely to go for Con Air over Battleship Potemkin most days. He's pretty sure that 2001: A Space Odyssey is the most overrated mess in cinematic history.
