Brody claimed he wasn’t paid for his work (the actor deferred his wages at the time of production, having been misled by producers that he’d be paid afterwards).

Good news for The Pianist star – the case as just been awarded in Brody’s favour. This victory means the agreement he made which allowed him to withhold the right to use his image will be put into practice, meaning that DVD and publicity material which bears his image will now have to be pulled.

This will probably turn out to be a costly and extremely inconvenient endeavour for the producers, who are probably wishing they hadn’t pulled the wool over his eyes now!
