TMNT

Paramount Pictures have released a new TV spot for the Michael Bay produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, giving us a first look at the rebooted origin story for the iconic foursome which will be featured in this new take on the characters. Meanwhile, the four new motion posters for the upcoming live-action reboot of course put the spotlight on Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello.

The new look for the iconic foursome hasn’t sat well with some fans of the classic comic books and animated series’, but Paramount Pictures are clearly hoping to launch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a franchise for a whole new generation of viewers, regardless of whether or not older fans turn up.

Either way, with Michael bay producing and  Jonathan Liebesman in the directors chair, we can at least be guaranteed that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be one of the most action-packed movies of 2014.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) and produced by Michael Bay (Transformers), the movie uses motion capture to bring Raphael (Alan Ritchson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), Donatello (Jeremy Howard) and Leonardo (Pete Ploszek/Johnny Knoxville) to life, while Megan Fox will play April O’Neil and William Fichtner will star as the villainous Shredder.
