Disney have unveiled a new trailer for Tim Burton feature length reanimation of his 1984 short Frankenweenie and there’s a clear focus on the film’s set up here.
If you missed them do check out the official character portraits and bios which were released recently as they not only give you a good idea of the players in this little undead extravaganza but the characters themselves are beautifully rendered in glorious Burton-o-vision.
The animation here is spot on, and there’s something deeply satisfying in seeing Burton return to his past to dig up a story so close to his heart. Time will tell if this is the film to break the spell of Burton’s recent critical tumult, but it’s looking pretty good so far.
