With just three months to go before Valentine’s 2015, Universal and Focus have launched the second trailer for the anticipated adaptation of E.L. James’ best-selling novel, 50 Shades of Grey.

As literature student Anastasia Steele interviews successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey for the student newspaper, she finds him attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Convinced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind – until he happens to turn up at the store where she works part-time. Ana, innocent and unworldly, is shocked to find herself desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too – but on his own terms. Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success – his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family – Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

The first instalment in the Fifty Shades trilogy by E L James, 50 Shades of Grey is erotic, romantic and totally addictive.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan top the cast as the now-renowned Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, with Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle, Max Martini, and Rita Ora topping the ensemble.

BAFTA nominee Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy) directs from a script penned by her fellow BAFTA nominee, Kelly Marcel (Saving Mr. Banks).

50 Shades of Grey will hit cinemas around the world over the Valentine’s weekend next year, arriving in the UK and US on February 13th.
