Daniel Craig returns to the big screen this month in Skyfall, the highly anticipated latest entry in the James Bond franchise, that pits him against Javier Bardem as the main villain.
We saw a fantastic new set of images from the upcoming action/thriller on Friday, and now the latest in the series of Skyfall video blogs has been released, giving us an excellent look at the shooting of an underwater fight sequence with Craig.
“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”
Craig and Bardem head up an awesome cast, and will be joined by Bérénice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Whishaw, Albert Finney, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and Dame Judi Dench.
Sam Mendes (American Beauty) is making his Bond debut behind the camera, directing from a script penned by Bond frequents Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and one of my favourite writers, John Logan (Gladiator, Coriolanus).
Skyfall will be released in regular and IMAX theatres on 26th October in the UK, followed by a 9th November release in the US (with its IMAX release coming a day early on 8th November).
