With its release now just over six weeks away, fans in the UK have been given a special opportunity to have their names featured in a special Thank You section when the film is released next year on DVD and Blu-ray.
Peter Facinelli has introduced the new competition, and just by entering (and having your entrance accepted – i.e. you must conform to all of the rules), you will automatically be included on the DVD/Blu-ray release.
“It’s the end of an era! With the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 on November 16th, The Twilight Saga reaches its epic conclusion and we would like you — the Twilight fans of the UK — to tell us what Twilight means to you. Using your phones or webcams, record a video to tell us what Twilight has meant to you and your favourite memories of the Saga and upload this to your YouTube channel. Then, simply post the link to your video in the comments below, along with the full names of the people in the video!
We’ll feature our favourites in bi-weekly playlists and some will be posted on the UK Facebook page (facebook.com/TheTwilightSagaUK). ALL the people submitting their Twilight stories will be featured in the film credits of the DVD when released in 2013. So what are you waiting for?”
So all you have to do is record a video talking about what Twilight means to you, and your favourite memories from The Twilight Saga, and then upload it to YouTube and post the link in the comments section of the YouTube video below – not in our own comments section, but in the video HERE.
And if you’re under the age of 16, the Ts and Cs state that you have to be accompanied in your video by someone over 18. You can read the full Terms and Conditions here, and this is the point which talks about the prize:
“9. Winners will not be notified of their inclusion on the home entertainment release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. All users conforming to the above criteria will be added to the special ‘Thank You’ menu screen automatically.”
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will be released in the UK and US on 16th November, with a special back-to-back screening of all five films, including the latest, taking place across both countries on 15th November. For now, here’s Facinelli asking what Twilight means to you. If you want your name included on the home entertainment release, you know what to do. And you have until 9am on 30th November this year to do it.
Be sure to read all of the Terms and Conditions to find out exactly what you need to do, and how you need to format your video when you upload it. Happy filming!
