The Avengers: Age of Ultron – Avengers #4 by Jack Kirby
There’s no sign of Ultron on this cover (he wouldn’t make his debut until quite a long time after this classic issue was released), but if we’re going to get a poster featuring the team assembled, then this should be the one that Marvel Studios base it on.
While the superhero team in The Avengers: Age of Ultron will obviously differ to this one, some sort of live-action recreation would be both a perfect nod to comic book fans and a great way of paying tribute to this iconic issue – which featured Captain America’s debut in the modern Marvel Universe – from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
