Following on from this morning’s new 30-second TV spot for The Bourne Legacy, we’ve now got two new US posters for the film with the rising Jeremy Renner front and centre as the new star of the franchise.

The second is the US version of an international poster that’s surfaced already, but the first is a great new one-sheet, which looks to be from the awesome moment at the end of this morning’s TV spot (and the great new trailer from back in May).

“The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.”

Alongside Renner is a brilliant supporting cast in the form of Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac, Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, and David Strathairn.

Tony Gilroy steps behind the camera for the first time in the series, having penned all three films to date, and directs from a script he co-wrote with brother Dan Gilroy (Real Steel, The Fall).

The Bourne Legacy hits US theatres in just a few weeks on 10th August, followed by a UK release that Friday on 13th August. Looks like it should be a lot of fun, so be sure to commit that date to memory.
