American Reunion served up its first slice of pie for the fourth film in the (original) American Pie series with the first red-band trailer back in October, and if you were a fan of the first three like me, you’ll have loved that first look at the film.

We’ve seen nothing but brilliant things since – including an excellent first poster, and most recently a new trailer last month – and now we have five new clips and two-dozen new images to share with you.

“In the comedy American Reunion, all the American Pie characters we met a little more than a decade ago are returning to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend, they will discover what has changed, who hasn’t and that time and distance can’t break the bonds of friendship. It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about—and get inspired by—the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.”

I can’t wait to see all the original cast return for their high-school reunion: Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nichols, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Shannon Elizabeth, Eugene Levy, Jennifer Coolidge, and the (excellent) John Cho, with 30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden rounding out the new additions to the cast as Oz’s girlfriend, and Heroes’ Dania Ramirez.

The film’s been co-written and -directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the duo who brought us Harold and Kumar, and they seem to perfectly know the feel of the first three films. All signs have been brilliant so far, and it’s all serving to add to my anticipation.

American Reunion will be released in the UK on 2nd May, having been to the US a month earlier on 6th April. To catch up on all we’ve seen so far from the film, just click here. And as usual with the images below, you can click to enlarge.
