6. “Maybe You Should Have Fought Harder For Them!”
Despite the fact that Wolverine travels back in time to bring them together in a bid to avoid a devestating future, it’s clear from this moment in the trailer that the relationshio between Charles Xavier and Magneto has soured considerably since the last time we saw them in X-Men: First Class. It was of course the latter who not only inavertently robbed Charles of the ability to walk, but also took his adopted sister from him as part of his “Brotherhood” of mutants. In fact, the cutting line above and the fact that Magneto and Mystique are seemingly closer than ever could be a good indication that these two will find it very hard to put their differences aside. Oh, and we also get to hear Michael Fassbender’s new accent, one he apparently adopted to better emulate Sir Ian McKellen!
