8. Quicksilver
Ever since it was revealed that Quicksilver would make an appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past – not too long after Marvel Studios confirmed plans to introduce him and his sister The Scarlet Witch into The Avengers franchise – Bryan Singer and Fox have been criticised for what appeared to be a sneaky move to beat Marvel to the finish line by first introducing their own take on the character at the last minute. That has of course been denied, and while we may never know the full story, the initial reveal of Evan Peters as Quicksilver was still was met with ridicule and this brief look at him in costume won’t help make that any better (especially after concept art featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s version has been met with almost unanimous praise from fans).
