Having impressed greatly with thriller Headhunters, Norwegian filmmaker Morten Tyldum now tries his hand in the English language – and to quite stunning effect – in the moving period drama The Imitation Game.

We were fortunate enough to speak to the director about the project, how he came to be aware of the incredible story of Alan Turing, what he believes lead star Benedict Cumberbatch brings to the role – and how he may fare at next year’s Academy Awards.
