Heading across to the Catacombs in Paris for the press junket of As Above, So Below was a chilling enough experience on its, never mind shooting a movie down there. However that’s exactly what filmmakers – and brothers – John Erick and Drew Dowdle did for their latest horror endeavour.
We asked the pair about the benefits of shooting on location, what attracts them to the horror genre, and why they believe the sibling dynamic to be so impactful to their productions. We also speak to them about their forthcoming picture The Coup, starring Pierce Brosnan and Owen Wilson.
