As Wicked the Musical celebrates its 17th birthday in London, we had the pleasure of celebrating this milestone with two of its current stars – Mark Curry (The Wizard) and Sophie-Louise Dann (Madame Morrible).
With the experienced duo, we discussed the shows enduring legacy and what still keeps audiences flocking back, night after night. They also talk about their own process and the challenges – and joys – in performing live once, or twice a day. They also look ahead to the forthcoming live action cinema adaptation, and how cool it is to see their own roles embodied by none other than Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh.
