We had an absolute blast chatting with Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey about Wicked: Part I! These two are pure magic in this epic adaptation of the beloved musical. Goldblum, stepping into the role of the enigmatic Wizard of Oz, was as effortlessly cool and witty as you’d expect, while Bailey, our dashing new Fiyero, lit up the room with his enthusiasm for joining such an iconic franchise.

Though they don’t share the screen in this first instalment, Goldblum teased some exciting moments together in Part II, hitting cinemas next year. A self-proclaimed Wicked superfan, Bailey couldn’t hide his joy at being part of his dream project, and honestly, who can blame him? Both stars were bursting with love for the cast, crew, and the incredible energy everyone’s poured into this story.
Needless to say, we’re officially counting down the days until Wicked: Part I takes flight—and the rest of this spellbinding saga starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.
Wicked Part I is in cinemas nationwide from Friday November 22nd.
