Marvel didn’t have any footage to show off from Thor: Ragnarok at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but fans in attendance were still left happy when they got to see a fun mockumentary starring Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo. Directed by Taika Waititi, it reveals what exactly the God of Thunder was up to during Captain America: Civil War.
As it turns out, he didn’t have a whole lot to do, so the hero ended up getting a roommate in Australia while failing to get in touch with both Captain America and Iron Man during the conflict. Thor also has some theories about the Infinity Stones and Thanos, though he seems more concerned with how Nick Fury’s surname is really pronounced than the Mad Titan!
The Russo Brothers have previously revealed that Thor and The Hulk weren’t included in Captain America: Civil War because they’re too powerful and would have given whichever side they ended up on an unfair advantage. Regardless, this video is hilarious and it will be a lot of fun to pick up with the God of Thunder when Thor: Ragnarok is released next year.
