It’s good to be in Leicester Square seeing in the premiere of a British film and with What We Did on Our Holiday Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin have successfully moved the family dysfunction out of the sitcom cage and onto the big screen.
David Tennant and Rosamund Pike are a husband and wife who travel to Scotland to visit Billy Connolly’s family patriarch. With three kids in tow this could have been Outnumbered the Movie but the writer/directors have made the most of the charm and cantankerousness of their cast.
The film is out this Friday, the 26th of September.
