20th Century Studios and Imagine Entertainment have released a new trailer for ‘Whalefall,’ an epic and emotional survival thriller based on the acclaimed novel by Daniel Kraus.
Directed by Brian Duffield, ‘Whalefall’ follows Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams), a young man who heads into the waters off California’s Central Coast following the death of his father, hoping to find his remains.
Instead, his search takes a terrifying turn when Jay is swallowed whole by a massive sperm whale.
With just one hour of oxygen remaining, Jay must find a way to survive from inside the enormous creature while confronting the memories of his father and the lessons he was taught. As the situation becomes increasingly desperate, Jay begins to realise that those hard-earned lessons may hold the key to escaping the whale’s belly alive.
‘Whalefall’ is directed by Brian Duffield, with Austin Abrams leading the cast alongside Josh Brolin, Elisabeth Shue, John Ortiz, Jane Levy and Emily Rudd.
