If any gamer out there played the demo, or even bought the game Asura’s Wrath, chances are, you are still having retina surgery. The game was bonkers. Where else can you fight a god bigger than a planet? Sure it was a visually spectacular, but in the end nothing more that series of QTEs. What the game needed was some more complex combat. Who else to teach the demigod Asura how to fight than the one and only Ryu.
In this clip, Capcom have done just that, pitted Ryu and Asura in a one on one grudge match. Needless to say Ryu takes a total pounding, being punched to the moon would be something even the most fantastical fighter could survive. Thankfully, Ryu has a trick up his sleeve in the shape of Evil Ryu, who then proceeds to dish out the pain to Asura. It’s comically brilliant. Check it out below.
