Prison Break man Wentworth Miller wrote the script, under a pseudonym initially, and it found its way onto the 2010 Black List and now, with Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode making up the main cast, Park has completed filming and Stoker is due out sometime this year.
Ambassador for Jameson Cult Film Club Matthew Goode replaced his co-star in A Single Man, Colin Firth, in the role of Uncle Charlie who reappears after many years absence and reacquaints himself with his family. Things, as you can imagine, go badly. Uncle Charlie, Hitchcock fans will know, was the role taken by Joseph Cotten in Hitch’s 1943 film Shadow of a Doubt and there are echoes, if not actual thematic elements, between the two.
