Motion posters seem to be the “in” thing nowadays, and it’s hard to imagine a character or movie better suited to one than The Amazing Spider-Man 2. They both feature new footage from the Marc Webb helmed sequel, with the iconic Marvel superhero swinging through New York.

Many fans were disappointed that the much talked about point of view scenes didn’t really have much of a presence in the first movie, but it appears as if The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will make use of them as we do get a close up of the city streets somewhat from Spidey’s perspective, but not directly through his eyes.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper and Paul Giamatti, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.
