Walt Disney Pictures have released two character poster for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The posters, which feature Captain Jack Sparrow and Angelica respectively, are the latest promotional material for the fourth installment in the hugely successful action-adventure franchise.
Directed by Rob Marshall, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, Stephen Graham, Richard Griffiths and Gemma Ward.
Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed adventure. Crossing paths with the enigmatic Angelica (Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love — or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens in the UK on May 18, 2011.
