A new trailer (probably the final one) has arrived for summer blockbuster Transformers:
The new film tells the story of the beginnings of the Transformers, which first start many centuries ago. Anthony Hopkins (Westworld) is our de-facto guide through the new film as he reveals the genesis of the robots in disguise and how they came to be first involved with humanity.
In the present day, however, the human race is facing extinction with an apocalyptic event taking over the globe, seemingly led by Optimus Prime who has turned against us and been coerced into bringing about the end of the world. And, as you would expect, the CGI and action is set to blow us all away thanks to director supreme Michael Bay.
Mark Wahlberg (Daddy’s Home, Patriots Day) reprises his role from Transformers: Age of Extinction, and is joined by fellow returning cast members Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson, who featured in the first three films. Stanley Tucci and John Turturro are also involved again, with Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2), Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael also part of the cast.

Here’s the Official Synopsis:
The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive theirs, or ours.
Transformers: The Last Knight opens on June 22nd.
