Andy Serkis returns as Caesar, the conflicted ape general who after years of struggles with man, sees the fate of the world resting on a knife edge as humans and apes go head-to-head in what could be the final war for control of the planet.
Woody Harrelson (Han Solo, Wilson) stars as the the human Colonel, who is hell-bent of wiping apes away and reclaiming Earth for the human race at any cost. Judy Greer (returning from Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Steve Zahn (Captain Fantastic, Dallas Buyers Club) and Terry Notary (Kong: Skull Island) co-star.
Matt Reeves, who directed the previous film, returns behind the camera – before he heads off to Gotham City to direct Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and J.K. Simmons in The Batman, due to start filming very soon.

In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel.
