The bearded wonder and star of the film Hangover, Zach Galifianakis, and the lovely rising star, Amy Adams, are reportedly in talks to star and add some well respected quality to it.

The film is based on a a novel of the same name by Tish Cohen about an agoraphobic man who lives in a historic Boston townhouse with his son who has to come to terms with his condition (a fear of crowded places/enclosed public places) when his money runs out from the royalties of his dead fathers rockstar career and he needs to find a way to come to terms with his life.

Galifianakis is great casting for the role as his performances in the Hangover was exceptional and awkward and has the facial expressions to add some great comedy potential and with Amy Adams as a call girl that will probably be Galifianakis’s few outside contacts to the world it’s looking likely to be a great looking comedy drama film (i hate the word Dramedy!).

The film has been in development since the 2007 writers strike and finally looks like it’s getting the casting it deserves, watch this space for further development news.
