Tim Burton’s forthcoming film roster is filling up, with his big screen adaptation of Dark Shadows being promised soon, joining his updating of Frankenweenie and rumours of another live action Disney adaption, the Malficient-focused Sleeping Beauty pic taking up space in the Alice In Wonderland director’s schedule.

Now there’s another film Burton is apparetenly readying himself for, and it might return Burton to the territory of what many consider to be the last ‘proper’ Burton movie – Sleepy Hollow.

Seth Grahame-Smith’s genre adapted classics have proved popular with Pride & Prejudice & Zombies becoming a best-seller, and following this film to the screen is another favourite – Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

Now, there’s very few people who wouldn’t want to see the lambchopped president take an axe to four score and seven hundred zombies, and the news from Latino Review that Tim Burton is teaming with Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov to bring this adapted life story of Lincoln to the screen is very interesting.

Grahame-Smith will be writing the script and if this is the film to lure Burton away from his Disney sojourn then I for for can’t wait. It can’t be worse than Van Helsing, can it?
