Hammer’s at the ready my friends, Thor and his merry bunch of chums are upon us in the first look teaser trailer which has just been released from Marvel, with our first look at Cate Blanchett as Hela and Hemsworth with his trademark Thor locks erased.

Epic action, supplemented with an epic soundtrack greets the Thor faithful as well as a world in which Thor’s main nemesis is a female in the form of Hela played by a dark-haired as well as a dark-souled Blanchett, in fact Thor doesn’t seem to be having too much luck with the ladies in this first look teaser. However, as he is forced into the gladiator ring to fend off whatever they threw at him a mighty green beast appears before him. Yes, you guessed it, it’s the Hulk which thrills Thor to the core as he states “Yes, We know each other, he’s a friend from work” before they leap through the air to batter each other senseless.
With Taika Waitti at the helm, only last year did he state “There are buddy elements to it between Thor and the Hulk, but who knows what the final movie will look like,”

Thor: Ragnorak see’s Hemsworth back in the title role as Thor, Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk. Tom Hiddleston is back as Loki and will be joined by Cate Blanchett, playing the evil Hela. Jeff Goldblum makes his Marvel Cinematic debut as Grandmaster, one of the Elders, and Benedict Cumberbatch will make an appearance as Doctor Strange as well as the likes Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and Anthony Hopkins jumping onboard this intergalactic blockbuster.
