I think this one goes down as mere speculation although loads of US blogs have picked up on the fact that this is fareful feasible and when you read on, you’ll see why!
Some new Transformers books have been released on Amazon with the title Transformers: The Dark of the Moon which are scheduled for release May 17th which isn’t a million miles away from the US release date of the movie on July 1st. It’s fair to assume then that this IS the new title of the 3rd movie in the Michael Bay directed Transformers movie.
The chaps over at Sibertron.com found this info initially and have already given an update where they note that the doamin name, www.transformersthedarkofthemoonmovie.com was also registered on September 13th this year by the same people who bought the domain names for Paramount for the previous two movies. Massive credit for the find chaps!
The third movie sees Shia LaBeouf back in the role as Sam with a supporting cast which includes Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who replaces Megan Fox as Sam’s love interest, Patrick Dempsey, Josh Duhamel, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, Tyrese Gibson, Kevin Dunn, Hugo Weaving.
