If you go down to the woods today you’d better watch out for two young runaways as this new poster for Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom ably demonstrates.

The new film, written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, spins the fanciful yarn of two New Englanders in the 60s who fall in love and then run away from their respective closed worlds sending their town into a state of terrified flux. Search parties are called and lives changed forever as you’d expect but if you missed the recent trailer do check it out here and you’ll see a number of faces familiar to the director’s work.

Bill Murray, Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand and Edward Norton all turn up but we’re interested in Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the two young leads.

Here’s the new poster which, as the title of the post suggests, is lovely.
