Well this has made my afternoon! I just got an email from the people who can make things happen at Universal Studios – the design team. They told me that something funny seemed to be happening on YouTube and that Despicable Me has taken over?!
Intrigued, I clicked the link (click the Minion image to take you there) to get an Error 404 Page NOT Found and then a Minion came to my help to try and remove a mark on my computer screen. After smashing my compuiter screen, the minions decided to start creating the Despicable Me YouTube page. No idea what I’m talking about? Well, click here and you see what I mean!
While you’re watching, click pause a few times when the trailer loads to see the Minions start doing some funky things!
Massive credit to the guys from HyperHappen.com and Feref.com who have made what I can only describe as the best marketing exercise for a movie I’ve ever seen.
