We’ve got less than four months to go before Jennifer Lawrence lights up the screen as Katniss Everdeen for one final time. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits cinemas just before Thanksgiving, and all expectations are for a mammoth end to the four-film saga.

Now Lionsgate has launched a new full trailer following on from last month’s teaser, showing Panem descending into all-out war.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her.  The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

Lawrence is surrounded by another stellar ensemble cast. She shares the screen with Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Sam Claflin, Natalie Dormer, Jena Malone, Mahershala Ali, Elizabeth Banks, Willow Shields, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland, with Game of Thrones’ Gwendoline Christie among the list of notable newcomers for the final film.

Francis Lawrence has directed the two-part Mockingjay, with Danny Strong and Peter Craig adapting Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will be released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on 19th November in the UK and 20th November in the States.
