Blending an almighty spectacular show of explosions and action, coupled with the genius casting of Reynolds and Jackson as a bodyguard and hitman, the trailer is full of wit as Reynolds endures his ultimate nightmare with that deadpan look he conveys so well.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard

Set in locations from London to Amsterdam, the trailer gives a little more insight into the plot which starts out with Reynolds, with a calm demeanour extracting his client (Richard E. Grant) from a volatile situation where his car is subsequently blown to smithereens.  With a trail in full flow of one of the world’s most brutal dictators, with Gary Oldman putting a price on the head of The Hitman (Jackson), the action snowball’s into full swing, including a hilarious clip of the men in a minibus, surrounded by Nun’s and Jackson joining in with a little song.

Even with a fresh bunch of footage in this new trailer, we can’t help but wonder if this gives away the whole movie, directed by The Expendables 3, Patrick Hughes, The Hitman’s Bodyguard also stars Selma Hayek, Gary Oldman, Richard E. Grant and Elodie Yung.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard explodes into cinemas August 18th.
