Last but absolutely by no means least in our Smurfs junket coverage we get to hear from the simply wonderful Neil Patrick Harris about the second instalment to the big screen adaptation of the Pierre Culliford creation.
Patrick returns as his namesake in the sequel to the immensely popular 2011 movie. The first film made over half a billion dollars at the worldwide box office and Neil talks about that success and how it took them all by surprise. We also quiz him on playing the different characters that he does whether that be the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ kind of character or the movie family orientated movies like Smurfs or ‘Cloudy’. As a massive fan of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, I also get him to do a few Steve impressions during the interview which made our day!
Neil also talks to us about the technological advancments that we’ve seen in the Smurf movies and finally what it’s like working with Smurfs who arent actually there when filming and whether or not the movie is a surprise when he first gets to see it.
